We are selling 20,000,000 depositary shares (the "Depositary Shares") each representing 1/1,000 of a 4.625% Cumulative Preferred Share of Beneficial Interest, Series L (the "Preferred Shares"). The Preferred Shares represented by the Depositary Shares will be deposited with Computershare Trust Company, N. A., as depositary.
Use of proceeds: To make investments in self-storage facilities and entities that own them, for development of self-storage facilities, and for general corporate purposes, which may include redemption of the 5.375% Cumulative Preferred Shares, Series V, or any other series of preferred shares.
